SCA understands that social responsibility is important to any business. It is within the company's nature to plan and implement social projects that include all team members.

In 2007 the company participated in the clothes drive and, together with Nova América group, made a monthly donation of one 50 kg sack of sugar for six months to the Gotas de Flor com Amor Institution. The company also created a campaign for the donation of blankets to ASCCI - ITACI Hospital - Childhood Cancer Treatment Institute. At the end of the year it also contributed to AACD.

Using internal campaigns in 2008, SCA collected school supplies and Christmas baskets that were delivered to the NGO Lar Amor ao Próximo. In October, when "children's day" is celebrated, it launched a toy drive for the Casa Anjo de Luz. That same year SCA also contributed to the clothes drive, to McHappy Day, to the Reciclar project and to Kodomo-no-sono.

SCA's values include respect for society and the environment.
