The commitment to environmental responsibility is part of SCA. Reduction, recycling, reuse, reemployment and rethinking are all company practices.

SCA introduced a program called "Sustainable Consumption" that makes employees aware of how they use energy, water, office materials and disposable products. It also installed special trash bins to sort trash for recycling. The program includes sending all unused equipment to institutions that may be able to reuse them. These are simple actions that depend solely on the individual; therefore it is important to invent new ways of consuming, producing and storing in order to contribute to the environment.
